Pilates by Em started with a simple idea: to bring the best of what we love to you. Born from a passion for movement and wellbeing as a way of life, we knew there was more we could share. We wanted to create a space where you can fall in love with the confidence, strength, and peace that Pilates has to offer you — just as we have.

About Our Classes

Located in the beautiful Solis Studio in Riverwood, we provide you with a gorgeous boutique space with only 6 reformers!

Our boutique space allows for personalised coaching, lots of laugh and a guaranteed sweat session. Expect a class which challenges your strength, stability and flexibility.

FAQ’s

  • Reformer Pilates is a low-impact, full-body workout performed on a machine called a reformer. It uses springs, straps, and pulleys to add resistance and support, helping improve strength, flexibility, core stability, and body awareness. We know you’ll love it!

  • Absolutely! Our classes are boutique for a reason; it allows us to cater to all levels. Our classes are beginner-friendly and suitable for all fitness levels. We’ll guide you through the basics and offer modifications so you feel confident and safe throughout the session.

  • In each class, you’ll be guided through a series of controlled, mindful movements using the reformer machine. Our sessions are built on the foundational principles of Pilates: concentration, control, centering, precision, breath, and flow. These principles help you connect to your body, move with intention, and get the most out of each exercise.

  • Wear comfortable activewear that allows for movement. Grip socks are required for hygiene and safety – these help you stay secure on the reformer during exercises.

    We have YourReformer socks available for purchase in the studio.

  • Bring your grip socks, a water bottle, and a positive attitude! We provide everything else you’ll need.

  • If you’re recovering from an injury, are pregnant, or have specific health concerns, please let us know before you begin your class.

    We can provide modifications and ensure we are supporting you as best we can. Always consult your healthcare provider beforehand.
